這大概是唯一一個詩人我目前讀到作品沒有包括情慾
作品大多崇拜自然 比起其他的詩人描寫浪漫愛情 感覺舒爽很多

We Are Seven
基本上 就是硬要讓天真的小女生承認她只有五個兄弟姊妹
可是天真無邪的小女生硬是覺得死去的兩個兄姐還是她的兄姐
所以 當作者問:
"How many are you then" said I (那麼 你跟你兄弟總共幾人?),
"If they two are in heaven?" (如果其中兩個已經在天堂了)
Quickly was the little Maid's reply, (小女孩很快的回答)
"O Master! we are seven!"(噢 先生, 我們總共有七個!)

"But they are dead; those two are dead!
(但是他們死了啊! 那兩位兄姐死了啊 你真是殘忍的白痴)
Their spirits are in heaven!"(他們的靈魂已經在天堂了)
'Twas throwing words away; for still (不經思索的隨口而出,但是)
The little Maid would have her will,(小女孩還是照著她的意願)
And said, "Nay, we are seven!"(說: 不 我們總共七個)

這首長達159行的詩 描寫山嚴峻峭就像這�邂点こε�光明來源:
If this
Be but a vain belief, yet, oh! how oft--
In darkness and amid the many shapes
Of joyless daylight;
然後描寫他有多愛這個地方
希望能帶他的朋友 (大概是Coleridge) 和他姐姐來分享這美麗的聖地

A slumber did my spirit seal
作者還是以往的回歸自然 通常死亡是負面的代表
作者表示死亡是正面的 人死後就這樣靜靜著躺著 就像巨巖, 石頭, 樹木一樣
No motion has she now, no force;
She neither hears nor sees;
Roll'd round in earth's diurnal course
With rocks, and stones, and trees.

My heart leaps up
還是nature(自然)... 最重要的一句:
The Child is father of the Man; (孩童為成人之父)
成為成人前　必先從孩童開始成長
雨過天晴　才會有彩虹
對我來說　我覺得這首詩有點因果論的味道

首先描寫自然之美
There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream...
然後敘述人會經著成長漸漸遠離自然
By night or day,
The things which I have seen I now can see no more
然而　老了以後　又學著如何再次面對自然
